Of Mice to Men: What if Rogue Translators went Regal?

Of mice to men, those who say what was meant to those who translate their intent. Two worlds often collide on an economic voyage in past fate. A tale from beneath the veil of ignorance of words and their intent. Of voyages led in worlds parted now apart.

A restless soul of greed and lust. For years gone by for these many years. Since the arrival of fallen fate from the seas. An unknown voice of face and spirit. Found on these shores with but a whisper of his past. An old world found on this new world. From obscurity and naivety to their potential existence. Of realization of potential value brought forth their new awareness.

Of lustful greed of the one will always win over peaceful wonderment of the many. Their battles ill fought against best ideals will never fail. For all pure intent are often betrayed by the passing of their morale compass. Often odd luck these shores provide. Through unbroken faith do we achieve intent.

Of ill valued who cherish the washed up prince in fools garb. For his return to his lost shores will mark the emergence of a king. The prince turned slave turned facilitator turned lord. These lords fall and arise in their distant shores.

For cast adrift he returns in guise to reveal himself a leader and a betrayer. He becomes a leader to those who cast him astray. He becomes a betrayer to those who found him that day. If not abused how would things be. To wonder ever more what life’s twists will turn and be. Of this path was followed or befallen onto. This new path is all that he then knew.

For years gone by often in tears. Of years gone by often in fear. As the muscles grew from painful sorrow. His education not limited to those who knew. For better guidance are learned sentences to mere simple barks. His knowledge grew while they lorded on. His knowledge grew will he lorded upon.

Of two worlds he now knew to their chosen few. Of purist dominance of the world they knew. Their minimalistic significance unknown to few. The fools are kings within their limited awareness. The kings are fools in their foreign confusion.

Psst, wanna hear a secret…

…You have the power to be who you want to be by simply BEING the person you want to be.

I never bought into the global viral campaign that was “The Secret”. I found (and still find) it way way to gimmicky and snake oily for my taste. For those who may be still unaware, the basic concepts of “The Secret” is the Law of Attraction: “ask, believe, receive” (see links below for details). The underlying message is often twisted to meet the selfish desires of the human population. This latest manifestation of this message is heavily skewed for marketability purposes. This part of human dynamics is no secret and is a fundamental flaw to this and similar teachings. Human greed and lust is often wrapped in self improvement teachings and there is more than a fair share of preachers who will gladly take your money for their own fullfillment.

Every generation is born to a new generation of self-help and get rich quick schemes. While guidance plays a large role in self development, it is important to see the distinction between Mentorship and Followship. Mentorship refers to the positive guidance that you can achieve through sharing acquired knowledge and experience with those who have yet to mature into their CHOSEN state. Followship refers to the pressing desire to be led to the promised land on the heels of someone elses ideals and interests. While a support structure is essential to any self-help teachings, it is important that you recall that you are the one who controls your destiny of self. Your support group is there to mentor you not lead you nor preach to you. You may not be able to control the circumstances that surround your life. But you will always have the self power to control your self even when your control fails you. How you choose to view life’s circumstances is a fundamental teaching of silver linings and lemonade.

I am a big believer in doing what works best for you. I would never stop (or berate) someone from doing something that makes them a better person without prosecution of others beliefs <=key factor. However, I personally have a bit more of a practical and realistic mindset to life that revolves around making your own luck work for you. I do believe that what you put out there is what you get back, but not in the materialistic mindset that has plagued numerous well envisioned self-help platforms such as "The Secret". Knowing that you have the power to change your life for the better is a strong message. Half the battle is aligning your mind towards your chosen ideal. The other half is realigning your actions towards your chosen environment. Knowing who you are and who you want to be are key route markers needed to navigate life to a successful destination. Knowing what you wish to change and finding a way to change that works for you is every human's right to self evolution.

Success, however, does not come from simple wishful thinking. It comes from the application of thought of self and ideals towards daily mitigation of your inner demons and outer temptations. Luck and Karma are often seen as manifestations of reciprocation of ones actions by those who fail to see the actions involved in acquiring such outcomes. It is actions through awareness that are key to this. Wishing without focused action of purpose and awareness of self is purely a luck of the draw. You can win under this mindset, but your odds are not in your favour. I prefer to play life with a stacked deck of my own actions and needs. Sadly, as with many self-help get rich schemes, the game is squarely staked in favour of the house. Life may be a casino to some, but I prefer to invest my money into myself versus chance of the draw.

To fill an idle mind from wondering falsely down a path of self destruction when simply saved by a task for his hands and his creative mind.
Get fully caught up in the moment but never at the expense of awareness to the awe of the event at hand. Flying high above the misses below.
From downing beers to shooting shots through fermented fruits nor a swish of wine on savored cognac upon scotch. Life ages like its drinks.
